The Emakoko

The Emakoko is a one-of-a-kind lodge perched on the edge of the Nairobi National park, just as it perches on the edges of the natural and urban worlds. Porini Mara Camp

Tucked around a riverbank in the remote Ol Kinyei Conservancy, Porini Mara Camp awaits to offer you the ultimate unadulterated safari adventure. With just 6 tents, you’re guaranteed absolute seclusion from the noise and invasiveness of mass tourism as well some of the most wonderful wildlife sightings that Kenya has to offer. Porini Mara was the first tented camp in the region to be run with local support and over 90% of staff are from the local Ol Kinyei community. It’s a paradise for wildlife enthusiasts who also want to be mindful of the environment and enjoy an unspoilt connection to nature.

Porini Cheetah Camp

Porini Cheetah Camp is the newest and one of two permanent camps in Porini’s portfolio, following in the footsteps of its sister camps to offer an intimate and authentic safari experience. Within the private Ol Kinyei Conservancy, you’re promised absolute seclusion from the noise and invasiveness of mass tourism as well some of the most wonderful wildlife sightings that Kenya has to offer, most notably cheetahs and lions. Porini Rhino Camp

Porini Rhino Camp is an eight tent all-inclusive tented camp located in Laikia within the 90,000 acre Ol pejeta Conservancy. Porini Rhino Camp is helping accomplish the Conservancy’s aims of generating profits from wildlife tourism for reinvesting into protecting habitat and wildlife and community development in the local area. The camp staff is drawn from different Kenyan communities and the camp adheres to strict eco-friendly and responsible eco-tourism principles, allowing it to achieve a prestigious Gold Eco-rating from EcoTourism Kenya.

Porini Lion Camp

Porini Lion Camp sits on the banks of the seasonal Ntiakatiak River, nestled amongst the verdant riverine trees. Located within the Olare Motorogi Conservancy, the camp enjoys rich wildlife viewing which guests can enjoy exclusively. The private conservancy only allows safari vehicles from the 5 small camps that are set up within its boundaries, meaning guests will rarely encounter another vehicle during a game drive. The vast 33,000 acre Olare Motorogi Conservancy borders the Maasai Mara National Reserve, meaning that guests can enjoy the abundant fauna, including the Maasai Mara’s large population of big cats. Porini Lion Camp consists of just 9 tents and 1 family unit, allowing for a quiet and tranquil atmosphere during the lazy afternoons between exciting safari experiences.

Topi House

Experience total freedom in your own bush house in the heart of the Maasai Mara Conservancy. Elephant Bedroom Camp

Elephant Bedroom Camp is set along the banks of the Ewaso Nyiro River in Samburu National Reserve, surrounded by doum palms and other beautiful indigenous trees and shrubs that encompass the camps 12 luxury tents, blending seamlessly with the natural environment. Each superbly appointed unit features an en-suite bathroom with al fresco shower facilities, hot & cold running water, and plentiful amenities, furnished with a hearty sprinkle of East African flare.
 
A varied selection of game viewing activities await you, from classic 4×4 safari game drives to guided bush walks, birdwatching, sundowners, stargazing and cultural interactions with a local Maasai community. Hotel Villa Bahia

Set in Salvador da Bahia in the heart of Pelourinho, the historic quarter of the UNESCO World Heritage listed city; the Villa Bahia is comprised of two adjoining 17th and 18th century colonial homes – remnants of the Portuguese era. Overlooking the colourful facades of the district, the 17 guest rooms have been carefully renovated to preserve their original spirit.
