Chobe Safari Lodge

Muchenje Safari Lodge

Resting high on an escarpment, Muchenje Safari Lodge rests within the Chobe Forest Reserve, on the quieter western side of Chobe National Park. There are no fences or boundaries between the park and reserve, meaning that the wildlife can roam freely, and guests can enjoy amazing viewing opportunities from the comfort of their own private cottage. The thatched chalets overlook the Chobe River and its beautiful floodplains, where you may see Chobe’s famous elephant herds drinking from the water. Pangolin Voyager Houseboat

The Pangolin Voyager Houseboat offers guests an exclusive photography and safari experience. The floating lodge contains 5 cabins and can accommodate a total of 8 guests, giving you plenty of space to enjoy a private and personal safari. The houseboat features a top floor sundeck with loungers and panoramic views from the Chobe River, and the second-floor lounge area also allows spectacular views with its glass walls, which you can enjoy while relaxing on a comfy sofa with a drink from the ship’s bar. The Pangolin Voyager Houseboat is based on the Namibian side of the river, with Chobe National Park on the opposite bank.

River View Lodge

River View Lodge rests on the banks of the Chobe River, overlooking its tranquil waters and vast floodplains. On the lodge’s sunny swimming pool deck, guests can enjoy river views from the comfort of sunloungers with a refreshing beverage from the lodge’s bar. Listen to the singing of Chobe’s prolific birdlife, and look out for elephants, buffalo and antelope who flock to the riverside in herds to drink and bathe. King’s Pool

King’s Pool is one of just three permanent camps within the Linyanti Reserve, offering guests a private and exclusive safari experience. King’s Pool consists of 8 luxurious safari rooms, completely powered by solar energy. The camp overlooks the Linyanti River, its seasonal floodplains and the beautiful waters of the lagoon that gives King’s Pool its name. The camp’s swimming pool area is perfect for taking in the tranquil view while relaxing in the refreshing water, or on a comfortable sun lounger. King’s Pool is regularly visited by elephant herds and guests may even be lucky enough to spot the rare roan and sable antelope. Chintheche Inn

Chintheche Inn on the western shore of Lake Malawi is known for its white sands, warm clear waters and age-old fishing villages. The inn is set in lush gardens with large, shady trees overlooking the Lake and comprises ten comfortably furnished en-suite rooms and a two-bedroomed family cottage. There is a central dining area and bar, and meals often take place (weather permitting) under the stars or in a shady corner of the garden. There is a large pool, and campsites are discreetly situated in the ample gardens.

An impressive thatched dining and lounge area offers a magnificent river vista that is framed by two large baobab trees. Dinners are sometimes held under the stars in a specially constructed boma.
