This conservation project provides you with the opportunity to observe sea turtles swimming in a contained environment. Tables and chairs have been set up around the turtle exhibits to allow guests to sit and chill in the breezy weather and observe these adorable little creatures. Outside, there is a large statue of a sea turtle that greets you before you enter the sanctuary area. In the main area, there are many other statues of a variety of sea turtle species, as well as a life-sized swordfish hanging from the roof of the reception area. The reserve may resemble a zoo, but it in fact is a conservation site and an educational centre as an additional usage. Primarily, the site helps protect injured turtles and raise young turtles so they can be released into the wild for repopulation.
