Mowani Mountain Camp

Mowani Mountain Camp offers luxury tented accommodation with magnificent desert views. Open air en-suite bathrooms and private decks give you great views of Damaraland and the reliability of nearby Twyfelfontein with its San engravings and paintings is contrasted by the elusive desert adapted elephants. The Twyfelfontein conservancy has been protecting the southernmost roaming ground of the black rhino and elusive desert elephant. Sustainable eco-tourism and community upliftment is of the utmost importance at Mowani. Guides from the local tribes compliment day-time game drives to track mountain zebra, kudu, springbok, klipspringer and if you are fortunate enough… the leopard! The adventurer itakes over at Mowani. Days are filled with game drives, hot air balloon trips over the Aba-Huab Valley, champagne breakfasts and al fresco meals amidst the dusky landscape beneath Mopani trees.

Twyfelfontein Adventure Camp

Among the rolling boulders of an ancient granite outcrop, Twyfelfontein Adventure Camp is a secluded, intimate camp in the deserts of Damaraland, untainted by modernity. The camp is unfenced and close to a watering hole, so animals wander freely. There’s no better place to get back to the basics and reconnect with nature’s simple majesty. With only 12 tents, the camp has a very cosy, yet open and airy feel. Only a short distance away are the Twyfelfontein Rock Engravings, the Damara Living Museum and the Huab River Valley.

Klein-Aus Vista Eagle’s Nest Chalets

Serra Cafema

Set amongst shady trees on the banks of the Kunene River, Serra Cafema is one of the most remote camps in southern Africa, its Portuguese name originating from the mountains that dominate the northern skyline. Guests fall asleep to the sound of rushing water, while by day they explore one of the driest deserts in the world.
Activities here are varied, including boating (water levels permitting), walking, viewing breathtaking landscapes, as well as carefully guided quad-bike excursions that tread lightly on the dunes. In this isolated region, the Himba people continue their nomadic, traditional way of life and when in the area, guests have the opportunity to meet them and learn about their lifestyle and traditions.

Bagatelle Kalahari Game Ranch

The lodge lies on the edge of the Southern Kalahari in the mixed tree and shrub Savannah.
The ranch is characterized by huge red sands dunes running parallel, and in a northern-westerly to south-easterly direction. This ‘Spirit of Africa’ atmosphere, coupled with service, delivered with graciousness and charm, in an unashamedly luxurious setting, will be the hallmarks of this establishment, providing excellent value and unforgettable memories for the discerning traveller.

Teufelskrallen Lodge

The tent houses of Teufelskrallen Lodge, situated on the first western Kalahari dune, offer their guests a panoramic view over the endless vastness and the sprawling Kalahari.
The 6 fully-furnished and comfortably-equipped tents come with a large view deck and their own bathroom. Each bathroom is connected to the tent by a short wooden boardwalk.
Reception, restaurant and swimming pool are located in the old farmhouse at a distance of 3km from the tent houses.
During hikes and game drives (all starting from Kalahari Red Dunes Lodge), guests can experience the breathtaking beauty of the Kalahari with dunes that elevate up to 30 meters in an open off-road car and watch the spectacular animals and vegetation.

Namibs Valley Lodge

Namib’s Valley of a Thousand Hills is located in the Namib, on a highland with panoramic views of the Guab Valley. The valley is riddled with thousands of hills, creating a photographer‘s heaven. The natural scenery creates a fairy tale feel to a place otherwise known for it’s dry and arid conditions. Until recently the Valley of a Thousand Hills was not accessible to the general public but due to some considerable effort and planning, it is now just a reservation away.
All the guest rooms are strategically placed to maximize the amazing scenery but also preserve a sense of privacy. A mutual dining area is provided, fully equipped with all the utensils needed in a modern kitchen.
