Desert Rhino Camp

Desert Rhino Camp offers an original, exclusive wilderness experience and the possibility of seeing some of the largest free-ranging population of desert-adapted black rhino in Africa. The desert plains – transformed overnight by summer rains – are starkly scenic, and home to other unique species, from Hartmann’s zebra and giraffe, to the bizarre welwitschia plant.
The camp consists of eight comfortable Meru-style tents with en-suite bathrooms, and shady main area with refreshing plunge pool. Run in conjunction with Save the Rhino Trust, Desert Rhino Camp offers rhino tracking by vehicle and on foot with experts from this conservation NGO.

Desert Homestead Outpost

Set within the 7,000 acre private nature reserve, adjacent to the world heritage site ‘Namib Sand Sea’, Desert Homestead Outpost welcomes you with a relaxed natural hospitality. Enjoy the endless panoramic view from one of the 12 guest houses or from the main house with its restaurant, lounge and pool terrace, picturesquely situated at the foot of a mountain. In the adjacent plains you can frequently see wildlife roaming in the endless savannah.
Guests are invited to make use of different activities offered by the lodge, excursions to Sossusvlei as well as horse safaris and tours through the scenic countryside.

Desert Camp

Desert Camp is situated just 5 km from the entrance gate to Sossusvlei and Sesriem Canyon in the Namib Nauklauft Park. Nestled under centuries old camel thorn trees, Desert Camp offers unsurpassed views over the Desert landscapes and surrounding mountains – An absolute must for the nature lover and photographer!
The 28 affordable self-catering accommodation units are equipped with an en-suite bathroom, shaded veranda with a fitted kitchenette, barbeque, power points and an adjacent parking area. Each air-conditioned room features twin beds and a fold-out sleeper couch to accommodate 2 small children (under 12) free of charge when sharing with 2 full paying adults. Utility boxes with most utensils needed are available at reception and fresh food supplies can be ordered daily.
Facilities at the main building include a fully stocked and serviced bar with big screen television, a sparkling swimming pool and 2 communal bomas with cooking and wash up facilities which are perfect for groups travelling together.
Meals can be enjoyed at the nearby Sossusvlei Lodge restaurant and their Adventure Centre offers a range of exciting Desert activities to explore the area.
A fully stocked shop, fuel and an Internet café is available at the Sossus Oasis Service Station.

Sossusvlei Lodge

Situated at the Entrance Gate to the Namib Naukluft Park, Sossusvlei Lodge offers direct access to the towering red sand dunes, the famous pan of Sossusvlei, the scorched black trees of Dead Vlei and the remarkable depths of the Sesriem Canyon.
The Superior Accommodation units at Sossusvlei Lodge feature a patio to enjoy views over the Desert landscapes, a spacious air-conditioned twin-bedded room and a full en-suite bathroom. The Standard Family Units feature two rooms back to back connected by a lockable inter-leading door between the two private bathrooms. An elegant Junior Suite boasts a spacious bedroom, living area, patio with a splash pool, large bathroom and inspiring views.

The Sossusvlei Lodge Adventure Centre provides a range of activities including Guided Excursions to Deadvlei and Sossusvlei, Elim dune walks, Sundowner Trips, Quad Buggy Nature Drives, Hot Air Ballooning, Scenic Flights and much more to explore the area’s natural beauty.

Desert Quiver Camp

Desert Quiver Camp uniquely combines modern self-catering accommodation with comfort and style. Conveniently located a mere 5km from the entrance gate to Sossusvlei, the inspiring scenery characterised by granite outcrops, spectacular views and roaming wildlife will captivate your senses.
The 24 uniquely designed self-catering accommodation units have spacious bedrooms, en-suite bathrooms, shaded patio areas and private parking. Each twin-bedded bedroom features a fold-out sleeper couch to accommodate 2 small children (under 12) free of charge when sharing with 2 full paying adults. The patio is equipped with a barbecue facility, a fitted kitchenette with under counter fridge and 2 plate hob and a wooden bench for seating. Utility boxes with most utensils needed are available at reception and fresh food supplies can be ordered daily.
Leisure facilities within Desert Quiver Camp include a bar with a big screen television, a sparkling swimming pool overlooking the grasslands and Elim Dune, 2 communal bomas which are perfect to cater for groups travelling together, and a reception area that has WI-FI connectivity.
Meals can be enjoyed at the nearby Sossusvlei Lodge restaurant and their Adventure Centre offers a range of exciting desert activities to explore the area.

Spitzkoppen Lodge

The same owners and developers of Kalahari Bush Breaks Lodge, have the privilege to share their dream come true of an exclusive destination on the edge of the Namib Desert, which started some 14 years ago. Sonop

Sonop is a luxurious tented camp nestled atop the granite boulders at the very South of the Namib desert. This unique safari lodge offers an idyllic retreat in an authentic 1920s-style setting where guests can get into the mindset of classic explorers. Surrounded by the stunning panoramic desert landscape, the 10 tented suites are generously spaced apart from their position on top of the boulders. Each tent offers incredible views of the vast sands and is richly decorated with antiques, colourful carpets and polished wood. Tierra Atacama
