This second story suite is incredibly unique with its wrap around terrace and thatched roof. The fully air conditioned interior features a king bed and a free standing bath tub with a gorgeous view out of the windows. The room has a connection bathroom.

The Two Bedroom Casita is perfect for larger families and groups. It offers a fully equipped kitchen, large private patio or balcony with a BBQ, hammock, and lots of outdoor seating. The two separate bedrooms offer a king bed and 2 queen beds both with a spacious connecting bathroom. These rooms are available on the ground floor or second floor.

During your stay at Boardwalk Boutique Hotel, you can choose from a variety of savoury and healthy breakfast packages, or opt for sweet waffles & pancakes, cold pressed juices, açai bowls, protein bowls and fresh fruit smoothies. Breakfast is delivered to your casita if ordered from room service between 8 – 11 am, and available inside the Lobby Café from a pick-up window.

All kinds of coffees, lattes, smoothies, cold pressed juices and fresh grab & go items are available at the Lobby Café from 9 am – 1:30 pm.

All food & beverage offerings are provided by Eduardo’s Beach Shack, exclusively for Boardwalk. Eduardo’s Beach Shack, a locally-owned and family-run business for over 13 years.

Boardwalk offers a beach service, daily from 9 am – 5 pm in a quiet and relaxing area on Palm Beach. Just a short five minute walk from the hotel the dedicated Boardwalk beach area is located in between Marriott and The Ritz-Carlton.

Complimentary beach huts (palapas) and lounge chairs are available and can be reserved at the Front Desk 24 hours in advance.

Vela Aruba offers a range of water-sports from windsurfing to kitesurfing, as well as activities on the beach itself like yoga. Vela’s location is adjacent to Boardwalk’s beach area on Palm Beach. Boardwalk guests receive an attractive discount on various activities and lessons at Vela Aruba.

Explore the island with ease due to Boardwalk’s central location. Visit the beaches for snorkelling and surfing or visit landmarks such as California Lighthouse, Alto Vista Chapel, and Bubali Bird Sanctuary.

Boardwalk used mostly local materials and products made on Aruba from local partners. They partner with local small businesses like Eduardo’s Beach Shack, their F&B partner delivering breakfast and mid-day snacks guests. By sourcing local suppliers and materials they are reducing their carbon footprint and contributing to a sustainable economic system in Aruba.

80 solar panels were installed on the Lobby roof to provide green energy; all 32 green buildings are 100% powered by solar energy.

Unopened dry food that guests have left over after their stay can be deposited in a box for charity that the hotel staff will distribute to the local foodbank. This helps reduce waste and supports the local community.

All lighting on the property, in all buildings, rooms and in the gardens is 100% LED, resulting in electricity savings by 90%. All air-conditioning units are ultra inverter A/Cs resulting in electricity savings by 60%. All the casitas are Green Buildings, built with Insulated Concrete Forms (ICF) walls, insulated floor slabs and insulated sandwich panel roofs, resulting in savings on energy and overall high efficiency.

Guests are asked to close the windows and doors of their casitas when they have the air conditioning on to help save energy.

Boardwalk uses water-saving toilets and water reducers in all shower heads and faucets in all of the casitas, along with an extensive water filtration system to water the hotel’s tropical gardens. All efforts combined are resulting in water savings by 60%.

Guests can choose to not have their linen changed every other day to save water and energy. Another way that Boardwalk helps save water is by encouraging guests to use their towels across multiple days of their stay and only get new ones when they absolutely need to.

All bathrooms have in-room dispensers with locally made Aruba Aloe bath  products, resulting in a steep reduction of plastic waste by not offering individual plastic soap bottles.

To reduce waste, guests can donate their unopened dry food groceries to a box dedicated for charity that the hotel staff will distribute to the local foodbank. 

Boardwalk uses biodegradable and environmentally friendly detergents and ECOLAB cleaning products which are proven to be better for the environment as well as the health of the housekeeping staff. The hotel also uses an eco-friendly salt solution in their pools that meet high quality standards, resulting in a greener way to keep the pool water clean than using other chemicals and chlorine-based solutions.

Guests are made aware of the plastic ban in Aruba upon their arrival. Disposable plastic bags are no longer allowed so Boardwalk adds to this island wide initiative by putting coolers in every room that guests can use as a bag to bring (chilled) food, beverages to the beach, or on a road trip. Reusable water bottles are available for purchase in the hotel lobby.
